BOOST Your Radiation Oncology Knowledge
Four days of Bolstering Oncoradiologic and Oncoradiotherapeutic Skills for Tomorrow (BOOST) courses are taught by leaders in radiation oncology, diagnostic radiology, biology and physics. Each day focuses on particular diseases and includes a refresher course on anatomy and contouring; scientific papers and case-based reviews. Heads Up on Grants and Programs

Opportunities for Research Funding: An RSNA Membership Benefit
Last year, the RSNA R&E Foundation provided residents and fellows with $440,000 in grants for research and education projects. The application system opens in October for 2010 grants. Membership is required and applicants who are non-paying members must identify a dues-paying scientific advisor or co-investigator. Find out more about grant programs.

 

Summer Is Coming. Do You Know Where Your Career Is Going?

Submit your images to the RadiologyInfo Outstanding Image Contest for a chance to illustrate existing pages of RadiologyInfo.org, the RSNA/American College of Radiology online patient resource. Last quarter’s winners are Daniel T. Ginat, M.D., M.S., of the University of Rochester, N.Y., for a 3D time-of-flight MR image demonstrating normal blood vessels within the head; Bishoy Zakhary, M.D., of New York University Medical Center, N.Y., for a CT image of closed-loop small bowel obstruction; and Venu Vadlamudi, M.D., of Michigan State University and the Flint Area Medical Education Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program, Flint, Mich., for a normal hysterosalpingogram demonstrating contrast material in the uterus and fallopian tubes.
