Exhibitor Summary

Once again, the RSNA Technical Exhibition saw great support from the commercial community.  In 2007, the number of exhibiting companies remained even with 757 exhibitors, including 122 first-time companies.  These companies rented a total of 783 booths including 275 freeform (island); 455 inline; 22 peninsula; 25 publisher and 6 mobile booths.

The size of the exhibition grew by nearly 15,000 square feet to 535,300 square feet, a new record!  This represented a 3 percent growth from 2006.   The South Building accommodated 364,700 square feet, while 170,600 square feet was positioned in the North Building.  There were eight companies that conducted Hands-On Computer Workshops (HOW’s) in the Lakeside Learning Center.

As a 2007 RSNA exhibitor, you should have received a Web-based survey by now asking you to rate and comment on your RSNA experiences. It’s an important way to share your thoughts about various aspects of the Annual Meeting and the challenges that you’re faced with before, during, and just after the event. Let us know what you think and your ideas on how things can be improved for future meetings.

Technical Exhibition Expands to Three Buildings

With the demand for more exhibit space (from new companies wanting to participate to veteran exhibitor looking to enlarge) RSNA will expand to a Third Building (Hall D/Lakeside Center) at McCormick Place this November.  This addition will enable us to:

                           1. Accommodate more companies
                           2. Allow current exhibitors a chance to expand their space
                           3. Provide additional food outlets
                           4. Relocate/return the Headquarters Offices back to the exhibit floors

The education exhibits, scientific posters, and other educational events currently held in Hall D will be relocated one level below to Hall E.  Our department is working on the exhibit floor layouts for all three buildings.  The Prospectus Floor Plan for this year's exhibition  will be available the end of March showing each building and the exhibit floor design for each level.  Your questions regarding this move and the expansion of the exhibition at McCormick Place for '08 are welcome and can be directed to the Technical Exhibits Department.
